All indexable inserts must be tightened to the correct torque to minimize the risk of becoming loose or being too tight and not able to be safely loosened when replacing the cutting plate. The Wera torque driver has a fixed torque for each size, no loose or interchangeable parts that can be mixed up and jeopardize the safety of the user or the cutting tools.

Each driver is clearly marked with the size and torque. When the correct torque has been reached, the driver "ratchets" over with a clear "click", no risk of overloading the screw. There is no torque limit when untightening the screw. Heavy duty handle (Kraftkant) made of two different materials – solid plastic with rubber inserts for best possible grip.
