Moisture ratio meter for wood Exotek MC-460B / MC-460S-40

Moisture meter MC-460B for professional use. Set containing instrument and sliding hammer (S-30) for measuring moisture ratio in timber/wood by inserting or knocking in two measurement pins deep into the material. Measured values are shown on the digital display as the moisture ratio in percent (%). The instrument has temperature compensation and a total of 6 density groups, of which one for spruce and one for pine according to Swedish standard. A total of some 264 different types of timber. Equipped with unique polarisation function for quick and stable measurement of high moisture ratios. Teflon insulated impact pins to check the moisture gradients.

Probe S-40 is used for moisture measurements in sawdust, pellets, wood chips, granulate, building chemical products in powder form, hay, etc. The insert sensor S-10P is used when measuring moisture in paper, carton, ensilage and hay bales.

MC-460/S-40 is supplied in a hard case with compression probe S-40, connection cable 1 metre, 1 battery 9 V . User Guide in Swedish, English and Finnish. Extra battery 9V 6F22 (6LR61).

S-30, Impact hammer probe (1). For easy measurement in wood with Teflon pins.

S-10, Pin probe for measuring wood, etc. Surface electrodes are used to measure moisture in veneer and surface moisture. Supplied with 12 x 18 mm long steel pins, and 1 pair surface electrodes.

Steel pins (set) for S-10. For measuring wood. The pack contains 3x5 pairs of steel pins with measurement depth 12, 19, 25 mm.

S-10P, Measurement probe for paper (1). Insert sensor for depth measurements in wood chips, bundles of waste, hay, ensilage and hay bale packages.

S-40, Compression probe (1). Compression tank with slip clutch for constant measurement pressure in stainless steel. Suitable for sawdust, pellets, wood chips, granulate, powder, hay, etc.
