Non-destructive moisture indicator for boats and caravans. Capacitative measuring method with a high-frequency dielectric field. Provides a quick indication of the moisture content of the material. Move the detector over the surface and read the moisture values in the display. The backlit display also shows the air temperature. Applications: Detecting signs of bubonic plague (osmosis) in boat hulls made of fibreglass reinforced plastic, checking moisture content before painting and varnishing, checking moisture content when drying out moisture damage, detecting moisture, water ingress and leakage and detecting electrical cables or other hidden metal objects.
