The deflector steel (S) is an approx. 1 mm shallower steel pair that sit backward facing in the cutter (for the cutter marked MAN). This deflector steel reduces the risk of ripping and kickback. The cutter MAN is approved for manual feeding. All tool steel supplied in pairs.
