Description

Torque multiplier, lightweight aluminium with highly efficiency and spline mounted counterhold. Low gear play with single-stage planetary gears for long life. The teeth are coated with a ceramic non-stick Teflon coating, which allows for a minimum of lubrication, resulting in improved repeatability even in cold environments. Supplied with traceable calibration certificate (in/out torque curve). All converters have replaceable sun wheels, which in addition, are designed to be the weakest link and reduce the risk of the gears breaking. The most common input/output torques in table form, adapted to the common screw sizes, set out on a decal. Also enclosed is a torque table of most screw sizes. Accuracy is ± 3% or better.

Applications: building structures bridges beams, support elements, etc., bus and truck repair workshops, agricultural machinery, aviation and rail maintenance, shipyards, refineries, pulp and paper mills.
