''Bluetooth Smart'' connectivity for communication with apps on an iPhone or iPad/iPad Mini. Sketches with lines can then be placed using your finger against a grid background in the app, measurements are then simply added as soon as they are made with the D510. You can also take a photo with the app, which you then add lines to with your finger and then add the measurements once they are made.

Option to easily measure the area of a house roof by measuring the true height of the roof at a distance, so that the person measuring can stand on the ground at any distance from the building. The button only needs to be pushed twice. The pitch is also shown in degrees at the same time as the height is shown on the display. The height is then simply multiplied by the width of the roof, which is easily measured at the same time, to produce the total roof area.

The option to easily measure the length of wind boards in the same way as mentioned above.

Profile measurement. Option to perform levelling by stating a given reference height on the instrument. Height difference can then be scaled, e.g. measure the height of a hill, gravel heaps, scale a floor/ground surface or other objects with diffuse forms.

Note that in the aforementioned types of measurements, the use of stand 96771100 in combination with mount base 96771803 is recommended to obtain the greatest possible accuracy.
