Lathe guard. Manufactured for all available lathe types. The chip guard is chosen according to the max. diameter of the work piece. The same also applies to the chuck guard with respect to the width of the chuck and max. protrusion of the jaws from the chuck body.

The lathe standard EN 23125 + A1 requires lathes to be equipped with a chuck guard, chip guard and rear wall. The lead screw and drive shaft for feeding must be shielded so that they do not subject the operator to a risk of injury.
