Description

549 HSS. Type GT-100. Helix pitch 40°. Point angle 130°. With reinforced core. Polished with nitrided lands from 2.36 mm with split point for accurate centering, reducing axial forces and gives hole tolerance. Especially stable special drill for drilling deep holes in difficult conditions, e.g. with inferior chip transport and with that impeded cooling of the drill point. With wide twisted flute that facilitates chip transport, making the drill suitable for drilling in automatic machines. For drilling steel up to 1000 N/mm², cast iron. Measurements according to DIN 338.
