552. Type GT 80. Extra short. Stable special drill for automatic and turret lathes. For drilling free-cutting steel, stainless and acid resistant steel, case steel and heat treatable steel up to about 800 N/mm², short and medium chipping aluminium and copper alloys. Polished with nitrided lands from 2.36 mm With special split point, from 1.0 mm, for accurate centring, reducing axial forces and gives improved hole tolerance. With wide flutes for good chip transport. Helix pitch 28°. Point angle 130°. Measurements according to DIN 1897.
