It is made of impact resistant ABS plastic and is rubber coated for a better grip and protection. The tape features a smooth roll-in and an anti-wear shock absorber to protect the blade and end hook. The 4-metre model has a narrow metal belt clip. The 6-metre model has a removable belt clip with a quick-release coupling that makes it easier to release the tape with one hand.
