Flap disc Norton Quantum
Description
Quantum. Flap discs built-up of rectangular abrasive cloth flaps, overlapping each other and bonded on a reinforced fibre backing. The abrasive cloth is covered with a special bonding agent, which makes the discs cold cutting and reduces heat development which minimises the risk of the work piece burning.
Recommended for extremely taxing grinding, deburring and rounding on heat sensitive materials such as stainless steel and other materials that are difficult to grind. Max. peripheral speed 80 m/s. For the best working result the following working speeds are recommended: 125 mm - 5500-7500 r/min, 180 mm - 3500-5500 r/min.
