The MB-102 Multi Base allows to sharpen on the side of the Tormek diamond grinding wheels to obtain a flat bevel, which is preferred in certain applications.

The Multi Base has an adjustable joint that allows to adjust the sharpening position according to the best options for each tool and jig. It can be mounted in both the vertical and the horizontal mounts of your machine, whichever provides the best access for tool. The MB-102 Multi Base also has two mounts which allows for a vertical positioning of the universal support in front of the machine, when mounted in the horizontal mounts of machine. This provides better access for sharpening knives ''edge trailing'' (with the edge in the same direction as the rotation of the grinding wheel), and for guided honing using knife jigs.

The MB-102 Multi Base can be used with most Tormek jigs for different applications.
